Attention Redondo Track and Field Booster Club:

Posted on March 9, 2010 - Filed Under Uncategorized | 1 Comment

Redondo’s outstanding Track and Field team will be opening their Bay League season with a dual meet against West High. This meet will be held at Redondo’s Sea Hawk Bowl next Thursday, March 18th at 6pm.
And yes, you guessed it, we need your help!
There is a full schedule of events with the exception of shot put and discus. (Since these areas are still under construction, athletes will compete on Wednesday afternoon at West.) However, we will need help in a number of areas including athlete check-in, snack bar, event timing, start / finish and jumping events. If you have experience working a particular event or area, please let us know. We appreciate help from our veteran parents and will need you to help train our newer booster members. This is a night meet and volunteers will need to report to the field at approximately 5:00p.m.

If you can volunteer at this meet, please send your name and phone number in an email to:

Susan Ryan, Race Events Coordinator at susanpryan@hotmail.com
or
Leslie Mull, Snack Bar Coordinator at lmull3@verizon.net

Stay tuned as we’ll be sending out more information early next week.

Let’s go Redondo Track and Field Booster Club; time to support our kids in their quest for the 2010 Bay League Championship

We will also need some help at West High on Wednesday. The Shot Put and Discus will start at 3:30 and I need some parents who can help run one of the events. I will run one of the events but I need 3 more people to help.
