The impact of this senior group on our Redondo Track and Cross Country teams will surely be missed. These seniors have watched over our teams for four splendid years. These seniors have been wonderful examples of hard work, self-motivation, and inclusive leaders. These are characteristics valued in our programs. And these characteristics were on display at every practice and meet.
Not having our seniors finish their seasons this year has been difficult for a group that worked so hard and deserved better. Of course, these are unique circumstances but, nonetheless, the coaches and support staff are heartbroken we did not have the opportunity to coach these amazing student-athletes for the conclusion of their time at Redondo Union.
We hope you may find the time to honor them today at our Senior Drive-By. These splendid young people have been exceptional teammates and leaders that will greatly be missed.
