Bay League Finals ~ Entradero Park,Torrance Thurs. Nov. 3rd
Hey Redondo Sea Hawk Cross Country Family –
It’s been a season full of training, competing in league meets, weekend invitationals, and a trip to compete at the Nike Pre Nationals! And it all comes down to Bay League Finals, Thurs. Nov 3rd at Entradero Park in West Torrance.

It’s BIG whatever team wins the race wins the league title! Our runners need you! Bring your Sea Hawk spirit… wear red, ringing cow bells, and cheer loud so all our runners know we are there for them! Do whatever it takes to make it this happen…You don’t want to miss this one!
Come early… the VARSITY races are sure to be exciting as they compete for league title!

Parent-Athlete Information:
There will be no buses ~ they will be walking to Entradero Park.
All parents will need to pick up their athlete from Entradero at the conclusion of the Frosh Girls Race.
All athletes must be in uniform prior to meeting Coach Ferron.
There will not be facilities available at Entradero to change.
Varsity Girls~ will be dismissed from their period 4 class at 11:45 and head straight to Entradero Park.
Varsity Boys~ will go directly to Entradero Park immediately after period 4.
All other athletes~ (Boys and Girls JV and all Freshmen) will meet Coach Ferron in the parking lot outside of the Student Services Building. They will be walking over to Entradero Park together.
Remember to pack a lunch for your athlete and to send both water and Gatorade.

Bus Leaves: promptly 11:15 AM ~ Drop off in the Student Parking Lot on Diamond St.
Don’t be late.
Bus Returns: around 7:45 PM ~ Pickup in the Student Parking Lot on Diamond St.
The bus will leave Mt. Sac approximately 6:45 PM
Bring sunscreen, water bottles and snack/lunch. There will be a concession stand and souvenirs for purchase so please send money with your athlete.

- Athlete’s will be getting out of their 4th period class and heading straight for the bus.
- Athletes must be in uniforms prior to loading on the bus.
- All athletes need to bring a healthy snack to eat during snack break and a light lunch to eat.

Pacific Coast Highway to Palos Verdes Blvd,.
Right on Palos Verdes Blvd, go through Malaga Cove to PV Drive West.
Stay on PV Drive West about 3 miles
When you past Via Coronel go to the next stop sign where the fountain is and make a U turn around the fountain.
When you see the baseball fields on your right this is where the cross country course located.

RUHS CCT CHRISTMAS TREE FUNDRAISER
ATTN: ORDER FORM has been updated… With NEW due date, pick up dates and time. Please print the new updated form for all your orders. If you have already turned in the original form please note the changes to pick up your orders. Any questions contact Laurie at runruhs@gmail.com
The Cross Country, Track and Field teams get a share of the sales. It works out real well. If each athlete sells just one tree we clear $2500 for the teams, sell more we get more. The trees are of great quality, so encourage your neighbors and friends to buy a tree or they can choose to donate their tree to a needy family. The DEADLINE to turn in your order to purchase a Holiday Tree is WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH. The updated order form is attached for you to print and place your order. The kids can turn in their orders to ASB or give it to Coach Ferron and she will get it to ASB.

Wed. Sept. 28th South Bay Cup

Our next meet is the South Bay Cup this Wednesday, Sept. 28th at 1:30 pm.
Columbia Park, City of Torrance (190th St andPrairie/Madrona Ave)
Please note the start time is different from what was on the original schedule
All athletes will be racing Wednesday except those athletes on Varsity.
Bus Departure: The boys racing JV will be dismissed from school at 12:00 pm and will meet Coach Bob in the student parking lot at 12:15 pm and drive to the meet in a van. The boys that are running JV have already been informed of the plans.
The rest of the team will meet Coach Ferron in the student parking lot after period 3 and will be arriving to the meet on a bus.
Bus Returns: 5:30 – 6:00 pm to the student parking lot on Diamond St.
Athletes need to: Be dressed in their uniforms/sweats. Bring a sack lunch, bottled water/Gatorade.
Also not only do they need to contact their period 5 teacher to see what work they are missing that day but they must also turn in any work due that day for period 5.

Special instructions for ALL cheering parents and fans: We will have a concession stand open.
The teams will run through the main body of the campus twice each race. For the first two races classes will still be going on. All our cheering fans and cheering athletes will need to stay off the main body of the campus during the first two races. There are plenty of other great vantage points to cheer. After the break feel free to wander anywhere to cheer.
All RUHS athletes will need to bring their uniform to school on race day and should be in uniform and wearing sweatshirt/pants before reporting to the stadium. They should pack their own lunch to eat this day with healthy items, water or Gatorade. Parents will be bringing water but no snacks for this meet. We will have a concession stand open.
Wear Redondo RED ~ Cheer Loud ~ Don’t forget to bring your bells!
