We have about 100 athletes on the team and even though we expect every athlete to bring their own snack as well as a water bottle to every meet, they do seem to appreciate having a tiny something parents have contributed.
If you would like to offer to bring something to a meet, take a look at the schedule below then email [need a parent volunteer] to let us know what you will contribute along with the date. I’ll add you to the master list.
Parents when you sign-up keep in mind we need more then one family for each catagory of items. Say if we need 6 cases of water then one family signs up for one or two cases, another family signs up and so on until we reach six. Same for all catagories.
Water is pretty much a must have; it would be helpful (but not necessary) to have it on ice in a rolling cooler.
PB & J sandwiches are hands-down the favorite
They should be made on wheat bread (2 loaves works well), and cut in halves. It helps to wrap each individual half so they don’t dry out. Cover a large flat box with foil and lay them in there.
Granola Bars; easy and individually packaged. Costco size box 50 count works. Any left over we can carry over to the next meet.
Fruit; grapes, banana’s, cut oranges are favorites.
Fill two one-gallon zip lock bags. Banana’s can be brought in a bunch.
Other ~ Healthy Snacks; this category is open for your choice of a healthy snack to contribute.
We will no longer be sending the snacks or water on the bus with the team. All water and snacks will need to be brought by you or if you are unable to bring them yourself we suggest to make arrangements with another family to help get your contribution to the meet.
