XC Season Update

Cross Country families,

We would like to thank the athletes and families for your continued support as our athletes attend practice in a safe and responsible manner. Training will continue to operate under the same protocols that we’ve been following for the past several months. We will continue our commitment to the safety of our athletes, in unison with the invaluable training opportunities for the physical, psychological, and emotional well being of our terrific student-athletes.

There have been changes to the upcoming season schedule. The California Interscholastic Federation, or CIF, has announced that they are pushing back the start of the cross country season.  CIF has been working with the state to determine when it is safe to return to competition. After not getting guidance from the state CIF has made the choice to postpone the beginning of the season. They hope to have more information by Jan 1st.

It is important that parents and athletes understand there is no penalty for not attending training during this time. We respect every family’s decision making for their child and we respectfully support your choice. We have provided a training program for athletes not participating in In-Person training.
