The Track and Field season is coming to a close—with a bang! This Friday night Redondo will host a dual meet against Mira Costa to determine who will be the Bay League Champions for 2011.
The meet will be at Redondo’s Sea Hawk Bowl and will begin at 6pm. This meet will have a full schedule of events and we need volunteers to help in all areas including athlete check-in, snack bar, event timing, and field events. Volunteers will need to report to the field by 5:15pm.
If you have experience working a particular event or area, please let us know. Also, if you volunteered at past dual meets and would like to keep (or change) your field assignment, we’ll be happy to accommodate those requests.
We are using a new timing system for this meet and would appreciate some of you veteran timers helping out. We’ll need you at the stadium by 5:00pm for some extra training.

THIS IS COACH WILLIAMS AND I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE ON OUR REDONDO FAMILY KNOWS THAT OUR THROWERS WILL BE THROWING AT 2:30 ON FRIDAY AT OUR STADIUM. IF YOU CAN PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR YOUNG ATHLETES AT THEY LEAD THE CHARGE TO A DUAL VICTORY FRIDAY EVENING AGAINST MIRA COSTA. TAYLOR BONGIOVANNI IS CURRENTLY UNDEFEATED IN LEAGUE IN THE SHOT PUT AND DISCUS. COME AND SUPPORT HIM ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE BEEN HUGE CONTRIBUTORS IN HELPING OUR SEAHAWKS IN BECOMING BAY LEAGUE CHAMPS ON THE BOYS AND GIRLS SIDES. I HOPE TO SEE ALL OF YOU THERE CHEERING THEM ON.
