Alumni Cross Country Race 08/10/13

Please join all the Cross Country families on Saturday, August 10th for our Annual Alumni Race.
The race will start and end at the Redondo Sea Hawk Bowl (track). Athletes are to arrive at 8:00 a.m. with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. and should be completed by 10:30 am. Also athletes do not wear their uniforms to this race, they can choose whatever running attire they would like to race in.
The intention of this meet is to provide our current team with a chance to get in a practice race before the season begins.This is especially important for the new team members!

The Alumni aspect of the meet is to provide a specific date and time once a year for the former cross country runners who have graduated, to join in on the fun. Redondo Union is known for their rich traditions. This meet has become a RUHS Cross Country tradition and allows a type of annual reunion for alumni to meet the new teams and catch up with former teammates and coaches.

Support your athlete(s) and the Redondo Union Cross Country Team as they compete in their first race to kick off the 2013 Season.

Bring money we will have cow bells available for purchase. Cost: $8.00 each.

We will also have a snack bar as a fundraiser for the team. Muffins, beagles, fruit, water and powerade will be available for purchase.

Don’t miss a great opportunity to mingle with the coaches and other families and to see an exciting race.
