Dear Parents and Athletes,
On Saturday, September 18, our team competes in the exciting Woodbridge Invitational at the Silver Lakes Sports Complex in Norco. The address is 5555 Hamner Avenue, Norco, CA 92880. Athletes should meet the buses in the student parking lot on Diamond at 12:30 PM. The last race (boys varsity) is 9:14p, they will cool down and then the buses will head back to Redondo around 10:15-10:30p. Due to the long duration of the meet we are allowing families to bring there child home instead of returning on the team bus. You will need to provide a signed alternate transportation form before leaving (PLEASE PRINT THIS OUT AHEAD OF TIME). For those returning on the bus, we ask that parents be in the parking lot ready to pick up when the buses arrive back at Redondo. Ask your child to text you when they are leaving the meet and again, when they are off the freeway.
Students should come to the meet dressed in their uniforms and warmups. Please clearly mark all items with names. Make sure they have plenty of water/Gatorade as it will be warm during the afternoon hours. Make sure everyone eats a healthy hearty breakfast, a light lunch and brings healthy snacks. You may want to send additional money since there will be T-shirts for sale and food trucks where athletes can purchase food AFTER their race.
We are asking for one parent from each race to please bring a precut watermelon to the meet. Please drop it off at the tent for the athletes, but please do not linger.
Below is the pertinent information concerning the meet including schedule, parking information and course map. Plan extra arrival time as you could have a long walk from the parking lot to the course. Also, traffic to Norco may be heavy. They have asked us to emphasis that NO DOGS will be allowed anywhere in the race complex.
Our team will be competing in the GOLD Division on Saturday.

We ask though that parents do not hang out near or in the team tent. Also, please wait to speak to the athletes until after the coaches have met with them and they have completed their required cool down after their race.
