Dear Parents,
This Thursday, November 4th, Redondo Union is hosting the Bay League Finals! This is one of our most important meets of the season. This meet will not only determine who wins the Bay League Championships, but also, who qualifies to move onto CIF prelims!
In order to pull off a successful meet, we need your help. The majority of this meet is held at night and we want to keep the athletes safe by having plenty of volunteers to assist. YOU WILL NOT MISS YOUR CHILD’S RACE. Many of the positions are great for viewing the races, but we will also have floaters that can cover you while you watch your child run. If you are a course guide, please bring a flashlight and wear light colored clothing so you can be seen.
Please use the sign up link below to help out. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! All volunteers need to arrive at 4:00 PM.
On Thursday, students will be released from school after the lunch period to go home, eat and rest before their race. Please make sure your athlete hydrates the day before and the day of the race. Athletes need to return to campus 2 hours before their race. All athletes are required to stay until the end of the meet and are expected to help clean up.
The races will begin and end on the track and will run through the Redondo campus.

8:00 pm V Girls
