Woodbridge Cross Country Classic – PARKING – TAKE ACTION ASAP!

Below is important information regarding the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic, which we will be running on Saturday, September 21.

There are two important pieces of information to note here: parking and meet t-shirts.

Parking must be paid for in advance – please purchase parking ASAP because it will sell out fast.  

T-shirts for this event will not be sold on-site.  T-shirt sales are made in advance, through each participating high school.  If you or your athlete would like a t-shirt from the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic, fill out this Google form (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NMbMbXPcrjikx1QVDH1UqiUmFxv0lk96ae-UAgXMywE/edit?usp=sharingBEFORE September 12. Please indicate how many t-shirts you would like, and what size(s). We do not have the t-shirt cost at this time – we will get that information out as soon as we get it.

The Traffic and Parking Plan for the 2024 Woodbridge Cross Country Classic 

 We all know that with large athletic events, there will be traffic.  However, nothing frustrates us more, and takes the fun out of an event quicker, than gridlock traffic.  The Irvine PD and our management team have devised a plan that will minimize the chances of this occurring (grid lock).

 ***** Individuals coming to the Great Park must Avoid exiting Interstate 5 at Sand Canyon off ramp at all times! 

  1.  All parking passes ($ 20.00) must be purchased online prior to arriving at the Great Park.  No parking passes will be sold at the different Great Park lots.
  1. It is Extremely Important that everyone that will attend this event (coaches, family members, spectators) follows the driving directions to the Great Park and the different lots in the attachment and links provided below rather than those they can get from Apps like Google Maps, Waze, etc. etc.
  1. Buses will drop off and pick up teams in parking lot # 1 on Phantom Road.   Bus driving directions are attached.  Bus staging directions (about 10 minutes away) will be provided when they drop off.  Coordinate pick up via phone call when your team is ready to go home.
  2. All vehicles (including school vans) will park in lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Civic Lot, Wild Rivers Lot or Portola High School (bus shuttle service available) with a $ 20.00 pass purchased online.
